FOOTBALL MEMORIES

Reading FC had just written themselves into Premier League history with a remarkable debut in 2006–07. When this classic blue and white jersey was pulled over their heads for the following season, expectations were high in southern England. Puma design and the Kyocera logo set the stage for another intense battle at the top of English football.

Manager Steve Coppell still led the troops, and he relied on key players like Kevin Doyle, Dave Kitson, and captain Graeme Murty. They all wore this jersey as Reading tried to establish themselves as a permanent fixture in the Premier League – and at a time when mid-table clubs like Portsmouth, Wigan, and Bolton were also competing.

However, the season became more dramatic than expected. Despite big wins like 6–0 over Derby and important points against Liverpool and Manchester City, the team fought against relegation all spring. In the final match, one goal was missing to secure survival – but it never came. Reading were relegated despite 36 points and a goal difference of -25.

This jersey stands as a symbol of the club's indomitable fight and second season in the world's toughest league. An era when Madejski Stadium was buzzing, and Reading became a name no one could ignore.

Are you ready to own a piece of blue and white Premier League history from one of the most dramatic seasons in the club's life?
