On October 13, 2007, Hampden Park was transformed into an inferno of noise, hope, and belief. The world champions from France were visiting, but James McFadden sent a long-range shot into the net, giving Scotland one of the most famous victories in the national team's modern history. Many Scottish fans still refer to that evening as one of their greatest football memories.

This Diadora football shirt dates from exactly that period. Under Alex McLeish, Scotland surprisingly competed for Euro qualification spots against France, Italy, and Ukraine in one of the toughest groups in the qualifiers.
