There's no football club on the chest, but the sweater still captures some of what Football Memories is about: the peculiar Danish traditions, logos, and images that can instantly transport one back to a specific time and place.
For residents of Funen, Albani is a part of local cultural history. Blålys first appeared in 1960 and was nicknamed "the church beer" because the label depicted the brewery's characteristic Svalebakketårn tower. In 1987, Rødhætte arrived, and the two Christmas beers have existed side by side ever since.
The sweater has turned the entire history into knitting: the Albani name, the Jule Bryg labels, and the red and blue bottles are repeated all around the body and sleeves. It almost looks like a classic Nordic Christmas sweater until you notice that the reindeer have been replaced by beer bottles.
