Celtic football shirt 2012-13 Stokes 10
On 7 November 2012, something happened that almost shouldn't have been possible. Lionel Messi, Xavi and Andrés Iniesta came to Celtic Park with Barcelona – and went home defeated 2-1. On the club's 125th anniversary night, Victor Wanyama and 18-year-old Tony Watt were goal scorers in a match that still lives on in the stands of Glasgow. This dark green Nike jersey belongs to that season.

FOOTBALL MEMORIES
Neil Lennon's Celtic made the anniversary season much more than a birthday celebration. The team won the Scottish championship and reached the Champions League round of sixteen after a group stage journey where the Barcelona victory became the undisputed highlight. Samaras, Wanyama, Hooper, Commons, and Ledley were among the key players on a team that gave Celtic Park European nights to remember.
Anthony Stokes wore number 10, but his season was interrupted by an injury that kept him out for about five months. He returned in January and still made his mark on the end of the season.
Celtic: Scottish identity without the traditional green and white hoops. The yellow lines and details break up the deep green base, while the small star above the club's badge points back to the European Cup in 1967.
And that is precisely why 2012-13 holds something special in Celtic's recent history. 125 years after the club's beginning, Celtic was once again on Europe's big stage – and on a November evening in Glasgow, even Barcelona became part of the club's story.
