FC Copenhagen football shirt 2006-07
Amsterdam, August 2006. FCK was 1-2 down after the first match against Ajax, and the Champions League seemed like yet another tournament to watch from the sofa at home. Then Michael Silberbauer scored – and Thomas Vermaelen sent the ball into his own net. FCK had delivered one of the club's great European evenings.

FOOTBALL MEMORIES
The red jersey belongs to the season where FCK truly pushed its European boundaries. The victory over Ajax made the Copenhageners the first Danish team in the Champions League group stage since 1998.
The reward was Manchester United, Celtic, and Benfica. At Parken, Celtic was beaten 3-1, while none other than Manchester United left after a 1-0 defeat. Marcus Allbäck scored the goal, which still stands as one of the results that changed expectations for European evenings at Parken.
At the same time, FCK continued its dominance at home. Ståle Solbakken's team regained the championship, and the gold was appropriately secured with a 1-0 win at Brøndby Stadium. It was a squad with profiles such as Jesper Grønkjær, Michael Gravgaard, Atiba Hutchinson, Brede Hangeland, and Allbäck.
The red Kappa model was specifically created as a European jersey. Upon launch, FCK described the large shoulder logos and the white Carlsberg print, and the following year the club emphasized that the 2007/08 model continued with the same red color but had changed collar, Kappa logo, fabric, and stitching. This helps to delimit this particular model to 2006/07.
